Pre-instructional Strategy: This procedure will allow you to introduce a new target
using the basics of discrete trial therapy and teaching new targets to clients. This
step by step procedure will go over the rules that need to be followed in order for
the client to be successful, how to ease a client into the teaching process, evaluate
is the target needs to be taught and procedures to follow if the child is not
successful and how we back up in the teaching process.

then continue to
the expansion
process.
