MY LIFE AMBITION

I have great ambition to raise my scientific knowledge for exploring a broad spectrum of its
applications. To go beyond apparent usefulness is my profound passion. At present, Pakistan
faces grave energy crises due to a variety of factors. As a young scholar, I strive to understand
the concept of power generation through fossil fuels and renewable sources. I completed my
basic educational qualification by achieving excellent know-how in science subjects.
I started my higher education in 2012 at COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology.
My main focus remained on miracles of science, so I took part in various projects to enrich
my knowledge. I had participated in valuable projects at my university period, encompassing
generation of electrical energy from Solar panel, UPS system, Emergency Light (using IC) and
Full Wave Bridge Rectifier (using GTO). I was able to have a plenty of knowledge from these
projects, internet surfing etc. I have developed an audio amplifier to amplify the audio voice
using transistors.
I live in Rawalpindi, its location is very central as it has Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan
towards the north. The city is ancient surrounded with electrical and telecommunication
cables above ground. During construction, a sometimes precarious situation arises due to
touching of iron pipes with electrical wires causing fatal injuries to workers. I consider the
role of engineering is to develop a sound system to avoid loss of human beings. In the last
year at university, while studying specialized courses in Electrical Telecommunication
Engineering, I learned a great deal and laid on cable containing data and power leading to
minimizing cost etc. Moreover, I had also performed many projects to explore further
knowledge on power and communication. Based on my research in my final year project, I
accomplished my project named Power Line Carrier Communication System to reaffirm my
faith in engineering.
During my academic period, I had performed many social activities, in October 2005, 7.9
magnitude earthquakes shake the Kashmir and disturbed the whole life. I collected relief
goods distributed to the needy people. When I was enrolled in University, I along with my
two fellows also formed a charity Organization named as Poor Healing Organization (PHO).

During graduating, six-week internship in Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited
performed Transport Network Operations Attock / Taxila, Transit North, OFAN Operations
and Switching Operations of work experience that helped me narrow down my career
interests. My eight weeks training at Saudi Air Line provided a chance to create PNR
(passenger Name Record), Holding Passengers and Public Dealing. This helped me to develop
further know-how related to communication skills. Besides academic activities, I also
participated in Extra Curricular Activities i-e Basic Knowledge (Religion), English Language
Short Course, Debate Competition, and Sports Activities (Cricket, Football & Badminton) at
Inter-School Competitions.

Foregoing in view, I understand China is an emerging economy and has quite potential to
help advance my knowledge related to Power Engineering leading to overcoming ongoing
energy crisis in Pakistan. I want to be a representative of my country to learn the

contemporary culture of great China. By studying in China, I shall be able to explore

innovative ideas to tap power resources at an optimum level in Pakistan.
