Cat, mat, hat and sat

There once was a rat who thought he was a cat

So he wore the cat’s hat and he sat on her mat
When the cat came back and saw the rat on her mat
She told the fat rat “scat” and that was that!

Is the letter “E” and it sounds like…eh
Pet, vet, met and wet
These are words with the sound of…eh

Bug, rug, snug and shrug

There was a slug named Doug who loved a ladybug
