## SOL 4.4 Study Guide

Learning Goals: The students will:
a.) estimate products and quotients of whole numbers;
c.) divide whole numbers, finding the quotients with and without remainders
d)solve single-step and multistep addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems with whole numbers.

Vocabulary:
Quotient- the answer to a division equation
Dividend- the amount that you want to divide
Divisor- the number you divide by
Divisible- when one number can be divided by another and the result is an exact whole number
Whole Number- a number from the set { 0, 1, 2, 3, }
Estimate- find a value that is close enough to the correct answer (key word: about)
