At my internship I spend time with multiple different children who are developmentally
disabled and have severe emotional disturbances. I spend an hour or two a week showing
them different coping and life skills that they may need to use in the future.
FIELD PLACEMENT EXPECTATION:
During my field placement I expect to learn how to use the skills I have been taught so far. I look
forward to working with many different people from different ethnicities. I also look forward to
learning more about the mental health field or working with children.
