Software Engineering Co-op
Verified Simulink development by creating python scripts to ensure software requirements were met.
Deduced why previously written tests were failing and fixing them.
Created a custom tool to automatically update, analyze, and report on software requirements within IBM
DOORS to ensure requirements were linked properly for auditing purposes. Used to present auditing
data to Rockwell Collins customers. This was built using python, dxl, vbs, and batch commands.
Developed and peer reviewed features for flight displays using Simulink and Visual Studio. Integrated
code onto a test rig and hand tested to ensure compliance with software requirements.

on the company website for over 75 products.

2014

Participant in the official Iowa State University Hackathon.


Created an application for android devices that could post tweets on Twitter using java and xml and the Twitter API.
Reviewed the basics of android development.

Honors Program Leader

Fall 2014

Recognized as one of the Top 7 projects out of 40 with a four member team.
Bathroom finding Android application using Dijkstras Algorithm, Google Maps, a SQL database, and a PHP
backend to accurately direct a user to the bathroom closest to their location on Iowa States campus.
Developed administrator capabilities to modify nodes and edges in our database quickly and efficiently.

Co-leader and organizer of a seminar based class for freshmen.


Wrote lesson plans for an entire semesters worth of class.
