Cumulative Reflection

As for the transfer students, I am so appreciate that I studied in here for almost two
years. A fresh memory from my head that when I took the required course EE101, it
helps a lot because when I came in here, I did not know how to choose the class and
what class I should choose. The required class gave me the booklet makes me
better when I register for the class very semester. Also the class for advisor helps
me a lot for transfer the credits from other school.
When I took part in the ISU orientation before beginning of the first semester I am
too shy as a foreign people in America, I cannot speak loudly with others because of
the bad English. When I took the EE185 we should get the group did the lab, I have
a partner to finished the lab sessions use MatLab, we should work together to
finished the lab session, the small group work made me improve a lot with mu
speaking skills and learnt more form the professional knowledge. Then in class
project of the class Cpre281 is more interesting than other courses, because we can
do the circuits by ourselves and the tool with evaluate our works, if it is correct the
LED lights on the circuit board with be light. This made me feel more succeed when
I got the right circuits.
I find some volunteer work in Iowa City History Museum to tidy the books in the
library at the winter break during 2014.The dean of this library (Mary) is so helpful
for me because she helps me to learn some history of American Culture.
I am happy to study in the Iowa State University, so I will continue my mater in here
next year, because I want to learn more knowledge about the power system.

General Education Reflection

For the general education courses, I took the Econ101, US Diversity AMD165 for 100
level course. For 300 level courses I took the Econ 355.
The most interesting course for 100 level it is AMD165.This is most popular course
in the school, I cannot register for course last semester because too much students
taken. The course talked about the American diversity from all area. For example:
the previous class they talked about the dress, customs and then they introduce the
technical products which influence my senior project, my senior project it is do some
model in the solidworks then send the model to the 3D printer company help our
team to print out. It also mentioned in my general education class. When I saw the
3D printer in my AMD 165 class, I felt so excited to see it on the lectures teaching
materials.
For the 300 level general education, I took the ECON 355, this course is talked about
the international economy, from this course I learned the some famous theory and
history of the economy developing. I choose this course because as engineering I
can not only study the engineering knowledge, I should know something expect
engineering.
