SUBJECT: Two Hours - Worth a Lifetime. Help children in Thailand when you
become CPR-certified.

The Simi Valley Public Library is offering a CPR class on December 12 from 2:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m, as part of a senior project by a local high school student. Taught by a
certified American Heart Association instructor from Conejo Valley CPR, the course
covers Adult, Child, Infant CPR and Automated External Defibrillation (AED), and
Choking.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course
completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

This two hour training will be offered at a reduced rate of $45. For every
registration, $20 will be donated to Baan Gerda, a charity in Thailand that provides
medical aid, education, and a home to orphaned children infected or affected by
HIV/AIDS. The remaining $25 is the cost of the student manual each participant will
receive.

Space is limited. Minimum age for participant: 13 years old.
