The modifications listed below incorporate the various strategies for modifying
games to fit the needs of the players for the types of games listed in the table above.
Many of them can be used in combination as well.
Modifications
Use of larger balls.
Use of softer balls (e.g., Incrediball)
Use of batting tee.
Pitchers come from own team.
Machine pitching.
Decrease or increase number of bases (w.
change distance between them)
Reduce in sector size.
Increase in sector size.
Changes in rules for stealing bases.
Reduced team size (e.g., 3 v 3 or 5 v 5).

Reduce fear of ball; reduce speed of ball.
