Individual Grant Assistance Funds for Clinton County Residents
(Clinton) Clinton County residents affected by the recent storm damage may be
eligible to apply for individual grant assistance to cover losses experienced due to the
storm. To qualify, households must be located within the disaster declaration area, and
must meet income guidelines.
The program provides up to $5,000 per household to cover repairs, debris removal, and
other household losses.
Households must have an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline as
shown below:

Each additional household member add $8,320

Or the applicant must currently receive a benefit from the Iowa Department of Human
Services, such as WIC, food assistance, Medicaid, FIP assistance, or child care
assistance.
Because the eligibility process established for this program is complex, Clinton County
residents who may benefit from this assistance are encouraged to contact Community
Action of Eastern Iowa directly at (563) 243-5220, or toll free at (866) 243-5220, to begin
the application process.
Applications will be accepted until May 2, 2016, or until all funding provided for this
program has been expended.
