Brainstorm with the class on the topic of natural disasters by using Interactive
Whiteboard.

After watching the video, students are to participate in an online fire hazard game
consisting of 4 missions.
Upon completion, a class discussion will occur where students can share their
understandings with the class of what they took from the activity.
Students are to form three groups and are allocated a topic to research.
- Topics include: before a fire, during a fire and after a fire.
- Students will need to focus on key points and explicit examples relating to
their specific topic.
2:00pm

After the completion of the research, students will compile their information in to
Google Slides which will be presented to the class.
Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)

2:10pm

Students will participate in an online game to demonstrate what they have learned
in the lesson.

detail about mapping.

Could the students distinguish between the different effects of bushfires?
Did we do enough to keep the students engaged?
Did the students actively participate in the activities and brainstorm?
Did students work collaboratively during the group work?
