Mr. James Miller
*Mr. Miller is a former veteran from the
WV National Guard who will be
attending our class on February 10th.
To prepare us for our upcoming field
trip, he will be discussing WV culture,
history, and more along with a
corresponding read aloud book.

after school from 3p.m. to 5:30p.m.

Educational Field Trip to West

Virginias State Capitol!
On Friday, March 4th, both 2nd grade
classes, including Miss Tucker and
myself, will be traveling to the WV State
Capitol and the State Museum. Parents
are welcomed to meet us at the Capitol,
however it is necessary for the students
to ride the bus. We will be leaving the
school promptly by 8:45a.m. and arrive
by 9:20a.m. Also, we will be having lunch
at the capitol therefore your child will
need a bagged lunch from home or the
school cooks will be happy to provide!
Please fill out the lunch slip attached to
send back with your child.
