Shakespeare's Critics Today

Pro Shakespeare

His views are universal

He deals with archetypes and
themes that can be found in
almost every written piece of
literature
Shakespeare helped develop and
form many literary tools that we
use today
Created words that we still use
today

Against Shakespeare

Students cant relate to stories

set hundreds of years ago
Were only focusing on a single
perspective of that time period
We shouldnt be teaching
students a style of the English
language we dont speak anymore
