in a puff.
The Mexican Woman stands still, never moving from her spot -- and watches him all the while.
INT. BAR - NIGHT
The Businessman and TWO FRIENDS are enjoying cocktails. They see a BEAUTIFUL
BRUNETTE across the way. The two Friends egg the Businessman on until he walks over.
He introduces himself to her. As they are about to shake hands, the Mexican woman steps
between them and offers a LONGSTEM ROSE. Before he can wave her off -- the Businessman
notices the Brunette Womans eyes light up. He hands the Mexican woman a $5 BILL and gives
her the rose. She takes a whiff and hugs the Businessman. They embrace as the Mexican
Woman looks on.
INT. ITALIAN RESTAURANT - NIGHT - SOME TIME LATER
Seated in an ultra-luxe Italian joint, the Brunette and Businessman toast champagne flutes.
Then the Businessman takes a knee and pulls out a RING. She shrieks in excitement -- and the
whole restaurant turns to see. They break into applause as she says yes and kisses her new

indicating a lack of money, but she clasps his hand around the stem. A gift.
He gives it to his Bride and they kiss again -- to rapturous applause.

The Bride is talking to a DOCTOR. The Businessman holds her hands tightly as the Doctor
gives her some news. She BURSTS into tears. Are they having a baby? Is something wrong?

The Doctor leaves and he reassures her, then gestures to the hall as if to say Ill be right back.

pouring his soul out to her.
EXT. CEMETERY - CONT
The Businessman says his peace and then falls to his knees. He kisses the ground in front of
the Mexican Woman. Her HAND appears in frame, and helps him get back to his feet.
He looks at her ROSES. She holds the bouquet out and he holds up TWO FINGERS. She
hands him a pair of roses. He nods thankfully, then places one at his Wifes grave. She looks at
the other, as if to ask its recipient, and he gives it to her. She smiles, as if to say For me? He
nods and hugs her. Then he plants a deep kiss upon her.

In a shotgun wedding, the Businessman and Mexican Woman exchange vows. A Pastor says
