To Whom It May Concern,

As a recipient of Federal Pell Grants for the past two years, I am extremely honored and
grateful for the opportunity that the Financial Aid programs have given me. Were it not for such
aid, I would have been unable to continue my higher education at Austin Community College
and for that I would like to express my gratitude.

I have been living independently for 3 years and receive no aid of any kind from either
parent nor any other relatives. My father lives in Argentina where he struggles to support his
own family and my mother presumably lives in the U.S. but has not communicated with any
friends or relatives for years.

I moved to Austin in the Fall of 2008 not having any local resident ties and have been
supporting myself via pizza delivery which by itself would not be enough to cover my living
expenses and tuition. I currently reside with two roommates whom I have known for no longer
than a few months and with whom I share a three bedroom apartment.

I plan on finishing my Commercial Music Management degree at ACC and continuing

my higher education career for as long as possible. Thank you very much for your attention and
