Teaching Philosophy
I believe that teaching gives me a tremendous opportunity to inspire, motivate, and connect with
students. Along with this opportunity comes responsibility. Teachers need to model the behavior they
expect from their students. Therefore, I model respect, honesty, diligence, kindness, and integrity for
my students. I feel strongly that students must take an active role in their education. To encourage
this, I focus on activities that require the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills.
