GENERAL Processing Board

GPB is a main processor board it provide the

functionality of signaling function for RANAP and
RANSAP (IUR) And O&M connection
GBP is connected to APP Switch via eth cable for o&m
connectivity.

And main processor for user traffic event handling
In Main subrack four GPBs are duplicated to provide
redundancy
SPB4
Packet data Router (PDR), Terminates GTP-U protocols
towards the Packet CN.

Terminates configured dynamic radio channel for

example DCH.

Switch Control Board

Provide interface fan supervision and control
Power filtering and distribution
CMXB
Provides external interface connections like IUPS and
IUCS with ETIPG card
It connects with ETIPG through backplane.

O&M Connectivity
GPB Board will connect to APP then APP will connect
to the TESS and TESS with Routers.
