Emily Frye served as a Bradley University novice teacher during the fall semester of
2015 at Valeska Hinton Early Childhood Education Center. She worked in a blended
pre-kindergarten classroom with 13 general education students and 4 students with IEP
goals. Emily helped to plan and implement innovative learning experiences for all
students in my classroom.
Emily maintained a positive and professional attitude while learning the school culture
and classroom routine. She had very good rapport with students and genuinely enjoyed
interacting with them in the classroom. She also collaborated with various professionals
that worked with the students she was serving such as occupational therapist, speech
pathologist, physical therapist and a host of other school staff.
Emily did a wonderful job of asking questions and applying her understanding of early
education to meet the needs of all students in the classroom during whole and small
group instruction. She completed all novice teaching requirements for the course and
exceeded my expectations for a novice teaching student.
I believe Emily Frye has a solid knowledge base of Early Childhood Education and is
able to apply this knowledge successfully in any educational setting. Please feel free to
