Why does the moon have these phases?
**Prompt students about the suns reflection on the moon
Can all of the girls please stand up and get an Ipad and sit with a
friend
Can all of the boys please stand up and get an Ipad and sit with a
friend
Does everyone have an Ipad?
I would like you all to create your own moon phases video using
cookies and we will be using the stop motion recorder application

Boys and girls, I have an example of a stop motion moon phases
video for you to watch and I will stop it at points and show you how I
have done it
**Important notes!
1. Students need to work backwards in the phases: take the shot
of the full moon first and the last one should be new moon
2. There is only 2 cookies per pair, if you eat your cookie then
you do have a second but avoid making mistakes
Boys and girls you can now start, please make sure that if you have
any questions please raise your hand and I will come to you as soon
as I can
