Amanda has satisfactory met the above standards. Amanda has demonstrated understanding about the role of the nurse within health
care. She is punctual for all clinical shift, she contracts effectively with her teacher, her patient and her buddy staffs at all times. She
performs all skills within her scope of practice [i.e. wound care, head to toe assessments, vital signs, medication administration etc]. She is
familiar with her patient medication prior to administration by researching the reason for use, side effects and patient health teachings.

conferences. Amanda ensures that she documents her patient's medication administration after administration and not before. She also
charts the care provided to her patient on a daily basis . She maintains the patients privacy by using initial only and not their full names.
Amanda is able to document independently on her own.

Amanda has met all the above learning outcomes satisfactory. Amanda supports her patients' right to self-determination by allowing them
to select the clothing that they would like to wear for the day and also by allowing the client to do what they can do for themselves [ie
comb their hair]. Amanda was observed on several occasion stocking up PPE's outside of patient room. She advocates for her client by
ensuring that pain medications are administered before there OT/PT appointment.

I would like to continue to grow with my time management because I feel this is an area that will always have room for improvement and always be
important to prioritize. To continue to grow in this area I will always collect my report on my patients after receiving my patients, as well as check their
files for any new notes. I will also start to prioritize after this so that I will use my time effectively and can have time to provide the care and attention all
my patients need.
