At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
(i) elicit the meanings of vocabulary from the text using their
own words.
(ii) read the text aloud with correct pronunciation, rhythm, and
stress.
(iii)answer the comprehension questions based on the
information from the text.

Teaching & Learning Activities

1) Students are greeted and asked about their wellbeing.


2) Students are given a list of vocabulary from the text.
3) Students read the vocabulary, and find the meanings of it
using their own words.
4) Students read the text aloud. The teacher guides them to read
correctly.
5) Some students are asked to read the text individually. The
teacher explains the text one by one to the students.
6) The students copy down the questions inside their exercise
book. They answer the comprehension questions.

Conclusion

Students do simulations on the situations in the pictures.
