Families
My goal is to involve my preschoolers families in center activities to promote
their childrens positive development. I encourage my preschoolers parents to
volunteer in the classroom so they can become familiar with the teaching
techniques used to teach their children as well as for them to learn along with them.
I share my preschoolers developmental accomplishments with their families so they
can know how far they have progressed and ask if they have any concerns.
I am familiar with and support my preschoolers families of different makeups. I
always tell my preschoolers that their families are all special no matter who forms it
up. Its okay to have one dad, two dads, one mom, two moms, or none. I provide my
preschoolers families with a family resource guide to help them
I build teacher-family relationships through family meetings being offered. I
encourage my preschoolers families to come and contribute in the program. The
program helps my preschoolers to grow and develop emotionally, socially,
physically, intellectually, creatively, and in language skills if their families support
and take part in what they are doing.
