WeeklyPlan:
Week1:
Theme:ReadingandInterpretationofSite:Anintensediscussionbasedonreadingofanurbansite
anddevelopingvariousinterpretationofthesite.Thestudentwillbeaskedtotakeupthestretchnear
erstwhileCalicoDome.Theissuesidentifiedwillbesystematicallyputinaframeworkthatpresents
certainaspectsofthesite.Thiswillbefollowedbyseriesofdiscussionwiththefacultyonvarious
disciplinaryviewpointsofanurbanspaceandplace.Inaway,thiswillbeabriefintroductiontothe
ideaofacity.Thiswillbeagroupwork.

thestudentwillbuilduptheirownareaandmodeofinquiryforthesite.Theprogramwillemergeout
ofthediscussionanddebateaboutthephysical,social,economicandenvironmentalcontextofthe
site.Thestudentwiththehelpofthefacultygroupwillsharpentheirareaofinquiry.
