Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hello my name is Michaela Plute. I am a student teacher in XXXXs 4th grade classroom.
I will be helping to teach your child for the next 3 weeks and I thought I should officially
introduce myself.
I am a senior at Seton Hill University studying Elementary and Special Education and
will be graduating in May. I will be starting graduate school in April where I will be
pursuing my masters in English. I have much experience teaching children of all ages
since I have been working at a childcare center near my house for the last 3 years. I find
it very rewarding teaching children and helping them to learn new skills and gain
knowledge in a supportive environment.
I have several hobbies including reading and singing, along with Crossfit and exploring
nature via hiking. Over the past three weeks, I have enjoyed getting to know your child in
class, working with them on a variety of activities in different subjects to get them ready
for the PSSAs, and look forward to having a productive and rewarding rest of term.
