Congratulations on your conditional offer of admission for Fall 2016 to Cal State Monterey Bay!
We recognize all of your accomplishments and the hard work that has put you on the path to Cal
State Monterey Bay and we are excited to welcome you. You are joining us at a particularly exciting
time. This year we had the largest applicant pool in the history of the university. Plans for a new
Student Union and Recreation Center are underway and the university is growing with our latest
major, Human Development and Family Studies.
Now that youve received your offer of admissions:
Reserve your spot for Fall 2016 by submitting your $100 enrollment confirmation
deposit by May 1, 2016. The deposit is non-refundable and is applied to your Fall 2016
semester student tuition fees. Check your CSUMB.edu dashboard for information on how
to submit your enrollment confirmation deposit.

Apply for housing. The priority deadline is May 9, 2016. Housing is assigned in the
order applications with paid security deposits are received. Visitcsumb.edu/housing for
information on how to apply.

Sign up for Orientation by May 9, 2016. Visit csumb.edu/orientation for dates.

Register for the English (EPT) and math (ELM) placement exams if necessary.
Check your dashboard to see if you are required to take the exams. If required, you must
take the exam by the March 19, 2016 test date.
Remember, you've been granted conditional admission based on the information you submitted in
your application. You must still complete any outstanding tasks on yourCSUMB.edu dashboard by
the posted deadlines. A final review of your application and transcripts will be completed. If any
information is missing or incorrect, your admission may be revoked.
