Choose 10 of the following items (any 10 you wish!) and answer the above 3 questions about
each.

Tires from a car

Pop cans (coke, 7-up, etc)
Baby clothes
Leftover food from a big dinner party you had with your family
Old car parts made out of metal
Milk bags (colourful bag that holds smaller bags of milk in it at the supermarket)
Cereal boxes (and you eat a lot of cereal)
Windows that you replaced in your house.
Broken dishes
Cereal waste from Kelloggs factory (the food stuff left over after they make the cereal)
A pick-up truck that is 15 years old and makes a lot of noise when it goes down the
street. It is embarrassing driving it and you just want to get rid of it and buy a new one!
Leaves that have fallen all over your yard in the autumn.
An artificial Christmas tree
Jewellery from your Great-Aunt Dorothy that just isnt your style
Beer and wine bottles from a small (O.K., perhaps it was large) party to celebrate the
end of this class in December
Collection of cardboard cutouts of Sponge Bob Square Pants that are all over your
apartment. Your friends laugh at them every time they come over!
36 Hardy Boys books that used to belong to your Dad (wow, those must be really old
books!)

Be creative in how you decide to recycle these items. Research the various organizations in
your area that would be happy to find a new use for these items. Can you recycle, make money
and be socially responsible at the same time?
Post in the drop box by due date on the calendar. Have fun with this project. Make sure your
report includes your name. List each of the 10 items and then answer the questions for each.
