Lesson Introduction
Whole group activity: Time: 8:25 am
Question (Blooms Taxonomy)
Opening/Introduction: (Bullet points)
What will you do to introduce the
concept to the students?
1. Showing them a picture is looks
like a cartoon of something, at the
same time shows Kaaf letter on
it.
o Here I will engage the
children by asking them:
what do you see? They will
say that they can see the
picture, most of them.
Maybe one or few of them
will recognize the letter.
o If they don't recognize it, I
will ask a hint question,

Remembering (low level):

In engaging part, I will ask them what do
you see?
Picture and remember the Kaaf letter.
Understanding (low level):
By seeing, listening to the video or the
song. They will understand it and know
it.
Applying (low level):
In the group activity, they will use the
new information about the "Kaaf letter
by reading, defined the state of the

which is: can you see the

letter? There is a letter on
the picture or give them
easier picture than it.
Active Engagement: (Bullet points)
After youve modeled the concept, what
activity will you have the students
perform while on the carpet to ensure
that they understand it?
2. Show them a song about Kaaf
letter.
(to help them recognize this letter,
and if they do not know it, they
will discover it in the song.)
o Through this short song I will
see the children:
o If they can recognize the
basic rule in the words, they
see in the song.
o If they generate other words
has Kaaf letter.
3. In the song, there is also exploring
part, where they find out what is
the letter, the different shapes of
also the words which contain it.
4. Exploring the three shapes of
Kaaf letter:
o First, I will show these
different states then they
will explore, it by themselves
by:
o Giving them 3 envelops has
five words. Each word has
the same state of the Kaaf
letter. Children will open,
explore the words, work
together to decide the state
of the kaaf letter.
5. Explaining: each group will tell me
about what they found, explain to
me why they chose this state for

letter.
Analyzing (high level):
They will analyze the words, the new
letter, through writing it and circle the
Kaaf letter.
Evaluating (high level):
Asking them about the three shapes of
letter Kaaf' by giving them a word that
contains a specific shape of Kaaf letter.

Creating (high level):

Ask them to give me a word has Kaaf
letter or write one if they can.

Kaaf letter.
o I will elaborate, extend it to
them, give them more
information and show them
more examples for the three
states.
6. Evaluating: I will evaluate them:
o Give them different
activities.
o By let them write the word I
say to them. (if they have
difficulties with it, I will show
them the word one time to
remember it.)
And ask them to circle the Kaaf
letter and tell me it states.

Remind the students in kid-friendly
language how they can apply what they
did the whole group in their independent
learning centers
7. They will apply it individually by
writing the words, circle the kaaf
letter and tell me it states.

Small Group Learning Centers: Time: 8:35 am

Learning Center 1 Title: Where Is The
Kaaf Letter in The Word?

Learning Center 2 Title: Which Word Has

Kaaf Letter?

Explain step by step what the students

will do:

Explain step by step what the students

will do: (low-middle activity)

Students who are at the low level,

I will give them basic activity:
The paper where they distinguish
the Kaaf letter between other
letters and color it or design it with
what they like.

Learning Center 3 Title: Which Item

Have The Kaaf Letter?
Explain step by step what the students
will do
High level:
Have big Kaaf and some
pictures without any labels.
Children will try to find out
what are these objects,
analyze if they have Kaaf
letter and stick it on the big
Kaaf letter.
Closing activity: Time: 8:45 am

Choose the word which has

the Kaaf letter between
other words they learn it
before and draw the object
that word symbolizes it and
color it.

Learning Center 4 Title: Object and

Word
Explain step by step what the students
will do
The highest level:
Give them a picture of the
object and inside it letters,
they arrange, find the letter
to create the written word
and color it if they want.

Allow children time to discuss how what they did during their learning centers and
how it relates to the lesson outcome
"Remember that." (restate outcome using kid-friendly language)
After the activities we will sit in the circle on the carpet and ask, discuss with them.
Assessment for Learning: How will you determine if the students understood the
learning outcome? What evidence will you show to prove this?
By notice, them, listen to their answers and see what they did in the activities.
As evidence, I will take an example of each activity in the different level or instead
take a photo for it.
Differentiation
The difference between activities is in doing, applying the learning and in the
mental abilities. In low level, they will just distinguish the Kaaf letter between
other letters in one word. The low-mid activity will read the word and defined the
word that has the Kaaf letter while the mid- high children will think, analyze the

items and put it in the big Kaaf. The high-level preschoolers have higher activity
in applying the language. So they will have a sentence that contains of kaaf inside
each word.

Recommendations / Future personal targets / Areas of focus

The areas that I need to develop are:
Teach every point in the lesson even if it a review.
Make it the learner-centered lesson.
