To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter of recommendation for Alia Woolfe. I have worked with Alia for the
past three years. She has been an amazing addition to our kindergarten team. I highly
recommend Alia as a teacher candidate. She is very kind, loving, warm, and courteous with
students and parents. She is zealous, enthusiastic and professional. Alia strives to create a
calm, caring, and respectful environment for students to thrive. She is well versed in
classroom management and she uses multiple management strategies. Alia has worked
with many students that have high needs. She is committed to student growth and she is
concerned with meeting the needs of each individual child. Alia plans and implements
effective lessons and is able to monitor and adjust lessons to meet individual and group
needs. She demonstrates her creative talents with the materials she creates for her lessons.
The materials support her learning objectives and are highly interesting to the students.
While working in our school district, Alia has gained experience working with students of
poverty and of varying ethnic backgrounds. She participated in home visits for our incoming
kindergarteners to help establish a good relationship with students and parents. Alia has
attended meetings and has helped with planning for the Earl Boyles Early Childhood Center.
She also worked with the pre-school teacher to create a district pre-school report card.
Because of her contributions to the school, Alia is well respected by other educators. Alia
also participated on our professional learning team where her contributions to the team were
highly valued. She has worked with the common core standards and has helped develop
assessments to go with the standards. Alia is an excellent addition to any staff. She is a
strong teacher and leads her class with enthusiasm.

Sincerely,
Vickie Koblasa
Kindergarten Teacher

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to highly recommend Alia Woolfe for any teaching job in which she is
applying.
I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with Alia for the last 2 years at Earl Boyles Elementary
School. Alia is a highly respected teacher in our school and a colleague I feel very fortunate to learn
from and work with.
In the years I have worked with Alia, she has had many challenging students in her classes. She
maintains an amazingly positive management style with all students and collaboratively asks for
ideas and support from others within the building to develop ideas to continue to meet student
needs. She creates clear structures and routines in her classroom. Alia differentiates her
instruction, classroom layout, and use of building support to meet her students learning and
behavioral needs. Alia provides high quality instruction and has developed extremely positive
relationships with students and staff. She is friendly and outgoing with all who she comes in
contact with. In addition, she is a diligent worker who is willing to go the extra mile to get any
necessary job done. Alia is a team member who steps up to help her team stay focused on the PLT
and Collaboration process in order to reach high levels of student achievement. I am proud that she
respects the use of data and is committed to high quality implementation of Forward, our newly
adopted program in David Douglas SD.
I have no doubt that Alia will excel in any job she applies for. I believe she should be strongly
considered for the position in which she is applying and would be happy to answer any further
questions you may have about Alias strengths as a teacher.
Sincerely,
