Prior Knowledge (What prior knowledge are you building in?)

The students already know how to insert picture, text box, and edit them form
the icons they can recognize them.
They know how to add templates and design pages, the icons are similar to
other apps and programs.
They know some of the related vocabulary such as processing, format,
collaborate and design.

Lesson Objectives: (What will students be able to do by the end of the lesson?)
Attitudes:
The students will respect each other by giving the chance to other student
to talk or answer during the discussion time.
The student will Set on her place quietly and if they have any questions they
have to raise the question sign.
The students will be working collaborating with groups by the task I will be
giving them.
Knowledge/Understanding:

The learner will be able to discover what is Prezi, by explaining when they
are using it. and for what they can use Prezi for.
The learner will be able to Predict how to use Prezi elements, by trying it by
themselves.
Skills:
The learner will be able to understand how to insert a template or blank
page.
The learner will be able to recognize how to insert pictures, text, format the
text or picture and deal with Prezis tools.
The learner will be able to identify how to save and share their
presentations in all their devices and save their work.
The learner will improve their technical skills and creativity on Prezi.
The learner will able to improve their social skills and presenting by dealing
with the groups and explain what they learn to the other students.
The learner will have an understanding of the importance of using Prezis
features and tools.

Behavior management strategies:


-Move around the girls to show them I am here and I see you
-If one girl was misbehaving I will ask her what is your name?
- and then if she continue to do the misbehaving I will give her a question and I will let her be buzy
-And I will keep my eye contact with them
Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have achieved the
lesson objectives?)

I will use formative assessment by giving students :


Try and learn: After I tell them about the Prezi, the students will make
groups of four and give each group one learning outcome (feature of using
prize), they will try to find out by themselves then come to the board and
apply what they have learn in front of the class with instruction after they
explore the feature.
Activity sheet: during the class. The student will apply the learning
outcomes of the lesson by applying the activity sheet on their
Ipads/laptops.
Discussion& Feedback: I will monitor students when they are answering
questions, Activity sheet and I will give them some feedback. In addition I
will let students to Email me their work and we will discuss it in front of
students and I will give some feedback also.
Bring ideas card : at the end of the class I will give each student a card
with a question to write their ideas about Prezi and their future uses for it,
then they have to hang it on the board as a gate pass for them. Also we will
discuss about that.
Personal focus (relate to your PDP, state the goal and explain your actions specific to
this lesson):

In this lesson I am working on my PDP goals which, to improve my


communication skills during the workshops: I will focus on the different
situation that happens and what voice tone fit in that situation during the
workshop.
I will Use the hand movement, and focus on the body language where I will
move around the class more while they are donning the activity to grab
their attention and make the student feel like I see you I give you
attention. Eye contact will be on my mind too. I will make a reflection after
trying all those strategy and the see the difference after all the workshop
the notice the difference.

Planning for Learning (Competency 2): I will be using different formative


assessment and activities during the workshop. I will change the style of
teaching by implement activities that will promote engagement of the student in
the workshop. Furthermore, using effective strategies in assessment that will
maximize learning opportunities like learning by doing so if they did not bring
their own Ipads I will provide it for them this will give them the opportunity to
learn better by trying.

Monitoring, Assessment and Evaluation (Competency 3): I will provide the


students with feedback to keep them on high performance. Use various formative
assessments will assist me to evaluate student progress.

Implementing and Managing Learning (Competency 4): I will scaffold the


learners by using a range of effective assessment and activities. In addition
integrate technology in different instructions for the assessment and the activity
will help student to increase the level of their thinking.

Teaching Strategies: (these are important to define so you create an positive and
supportive learning environment during the lesson)

Teaching strategies:
* The teacher will try to give opportunity to all students. For example, asking
them hard questions or easy questions or from their own experience. That will
engage them to learn and to keep the new information in their mind.
Give every students an opportunity to share and speak in workshop by using the
board activity when they will explain what they found out in the app. Sharing in
class and answering on the question. Give the student the opportunity to learn
by themselves and apply what they have learn and help other to learn what they
have learn by explain in front of their friends.
Classroom management strategies:
Each learner will set in her place quietly, because of the question sign I will
be using and my body language will help them to be engaged more.
The learner wont use their Ipad until teacher explain all learning outcomes
of the lesson.
Each learner will answer on her challenge sheet individually and if they
have question they will call their teacher.
Each learner will have a steak question mark to rise if they have a
question.
Behavioral management strategies:
The learner will raise their question mark when they will answer or ask I
will make sure they know that.
The learner will ignored if she is miss behaving.
Listen while others talk.
Feedback strategies:
The teacher will try to give student feedback for understanding, reinforcement
and challenging between either it was a group work or individually.

Materials & Resources:


*Ipads: the students will learn and apply what they learn using ipad.
*Activity sheet (the challenge) to let student apply what they learnt.
*Timeline chin to help student to know in which part of the workshop they are in
and what next then we will see what they achieved by this chain.
*bring ideas card The student will write their ideas in a card and paste on the
board. They wont exit from workshop if they wont put the card on the board.
Technology integration:
*Students will be provided a Ipad and the pages app
*A laptop/projector set up for introduction presentation.

ENGAGE -Introduction:
Start the lesson by doing a short discussion with the students let them talk freely about the topic
* how was your expirnce with your presentation projects? What did you use? Did you find it
interesting? How?* .
The teacher will move around and make them feel comfortable to talk.

I will use two goals which are variety of assessment techniques and variety of activities. On the other
side I will have a list of important words that are related to the technology workshop. I will engage
them by that: I will throw a ball to some student the first one have to read it and then I will throw the
ball again to other student to tell us the meaning. The list of the words will be: (Collaborative, develop,
topic, resources, search, tools, layout, design, view, insert, dimensions, custom, features, elements)
