Primary lead teacher in four different preps and six different classes a day, including middle school life
science, tenth grade biology, high school environmental science, biotechnology, and anatomy and physiology.
Collaborated with staff at meetings, within professional learning communities, and with mentors about
instructional units and standards focused lesson plans to improve student success, learning, and engagement.
Coordinated with special education leaders on ways to differentiate and meet the goals of students
with exceptional needs.
Successfully implemented a number of various instructional strategies and formats to modify
curriculum for English language learners and students with individualized education plans or 504s.
Participated in parent-teacher conferences to communicate student academic goals and development,
as well as develop a positive rapport with parents and guardians.
