To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Adrienne Reed I have had the pleasure of having Adrienne as my
student for Introduction to STEM. In this capacity I have gotten to know her and have been impressed by her
leadership and maturity.
In the classroom, Adrienne is an excellent student; she pays attention, completes labs and homework on
time, and can be relied on in a group setting to be a major contributor to the project or lab. Adriennne chose to take
on STEM as an academic elective in her senior year because the course was not offered at our site when she was
a freshman. As a result she is in a class with a mixture of students who range in age from 14 to 18. It is obvious
when you enter the room that Adrienne is not an under classman. She is personally responsible and motivated to
learn the information, she take notes, asks questions, and completes assignments without any prompting from me.
This is just one instance that illustrates her dedication and abilities when it comes to getting things done to further
her education.
In group projects with her peers Adrienne often leads the way to get the assignment completed on time and
in a professional manner. This only half the story however because she is not only a leader among her peers she
also interacts well with the teaching and administrative staff, earning our respect and admiration.
Thank you for this opportunity to recommend Adrienne to your organization. I am excited to see her
graduate and move forward to the next stage in her life where I know she will be able to make great contributions to
society.
Sincerely,

Carrie Rausch
