Two students have been drawn to God because they have heard the life-changing news of the gospel. Pray for students to attend our separate men's and women's overnights next weekend to grow in deeper relationships with their peers and the Lord.

Praise God for drawing Sam and Cedric into a relationship with Himself and for allowing us to be a part of it. Pray for these two young men to continue to grow in faith and wisdom in their new relationship with God. Jesus speaking says, No one can
come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. John 6:44 The Greek word that is translated draw in this passage is helkuo which means to drag (literally or figuratively). Obviously God is the one responsible for bringing us into relationship with Himself, but amazingly He chooses to allow us to be a part of that process and experience when we step out in faith to share the gospel with those around us. In the last month, two such students have been drawn to God because they have heard the life-changing news of the gospel. Sam, a sophomore, recognized that his life was empty and he needed God, so in a prayer of desperation he asked that God would do something in His life. Sam was an RA at UNC last The next semester. day Sam met some Cru students and staff that were doing spiritual interest surveys in the University Center (the student union). After completing the survey, Sam was met with that same day and after hearing
the gospel, invited Jesus into his
life. How encouraging to see God draw Sam to Himself. A few days after Sam had invited Jesus into his life another sophomore was having a similar conversation with God. Cedric had come to recognize that the drugs Cedric is a sophomore at and other UNC . vices in his life were not good for him or fulfilling his life. He knew he needed a change, and like Sam, had filled out a spiritual interest survey. When a student leader named Ben ended up meeting with Cedric, he knew that the gospel and this new community of people were the change he needed. Cedric invited Jesus into his life and has been excitedly growing spiritually ever since. Both Sam and Cedric have been consistently connecting with Cru students and staff and have been attending a local church, so we are very excited to see their faith in the Lord grow as they learn more about Him through His word and the community of believers in Cru.
Thank you for letting us join in Gods work
of helkuo-dragging us to Himself. We couldnt do it without you.
