SUV = Terenac
An SUV is a sport utility vehicle built on a light-truck chassis. It is usually equipped with four-wheel drive and
the ability to be used as an off-road vehicle.

MPV = Višenamensko vozilo


An MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) is a type of automobile similar in shape to a van designed for personal use and
for maximum interior room.

LGV = HGV=Teretno vozilo


An LGV (large goods vehicle) is a term in the European Union for goods motor vehicles with a maximum
allowed mass of over 3,5 tones. This vehicle was once referred to as heavy goods vehicle but the term was
changed as not all countries in Europe had a word for 'heavy' with the same uniform contextual meaning.

Truck (American English) /Lorry (British English) = Kamion


A truck or lorry is a vehicle used for transport of goods or materials. Some truck/lorries can be very large and
they can be used as a platform for equipment.

Pickup truck = Kamionet


A pickup truck is a light vehicle with an open-top rear area that is separated from the cab and is used for cargo.

Dumper = Kiper
A dumper is an open four-wheel vehicle used for carrying large materials with the load skip in the front area. It
can tip to dump the load hence the name “dumper”.

Van = LCV = Kombi


A van is a vehicle used for transporting goods or groups of people. Its length and width is about the same as a
large automobile, but taller and higher off the grounds. A van is also called a light commercial vehicle.

Sedan (American English) /Saloon (British English) = Limuzina


A sedan/saloon is a passenger car with two rows of seats and an adequate space in the rear part for adult
passengers. This car usually has a rear trunk for luggage.

Hatchback = Hečbek
Hatchback is a term for an automobile design with a passenger cabin and a cargo space accessed from behind
the vehicle by a tailgate or a flip-up window.

Station wagon = Karavan


A station wagon is a passenger car design similar to sedan/saloon design but with a full-size back cargo
compartment accessible via a fifth door. It differs from hatchbacks in the size of the cargo
compartment.
