Lesson Title:
Grade/Period:
Objective:
What students will know and be able
to do stated in student friendly
language (use Blooms and DOK
levels for higher level thinking
objectives)
Essential Question(s):
Over-arching questions of the lesson
that will indicate student
understanding of concepts/skills
What is it you want the students to
learn/know? Why?
Inclusion Activity:
Describe an activity that will ensure
that all students and their voices are
included at the beginning of the
lesson.
Sequence of Activities:
Provide an overview of the flow of
the lesson. Should also include
estimates of pacing/timing.
Instructional Strategies:
Research-based strategies to help
students think critically about the
concept/skill.
I can: They can be invited to my classroom using the given code off of
classroom. They can upload links that helped them with homework
assignments. They can talk with their fellow classmates and teacher to
receive advice in finishing homework. Upload presentation to Google
Classroom.
Do they follow the directions to be able to create a presentation they would
be proud to show their parents? Do they understand the importance of
talking with the teacher and fellow students to be able to finish the
assignment? Or does additional information need to be given?
Create a blog on the teachers profile and have them interact with each
other on the lessons that were taught during the week. Also if they find
material that will help another student of their presentation they are able to
share it with that student.
First they join the Google classroom, with advisement from the teacher.
Then assign the PowerPoint on a person from history that had an impact on
mathematics. They would be a sign up so there are not more than two
students are presenting the same person, grouping the two students
together might be a change made to the given assignment if there are too
many groups to fit into two days.
Depending on the size of the classroom, it might be a more viable option to
group up the two students. This would give them the chance to spilt the
work up. While the teacher would still ensure that all students were doing
the same amount of work.
The students would also be required to take notes while the students are
presenting the presentations they uploaded on to Google Classroom.
Assessment:
List both formative and summative
assessments that you will use to
assess student understanding.
Formative assessments are given
during instruction (check for
understanding), summative are after
completion of instruction (how will
you grade quiz, test, project,
paper, presentation, demonstration,
etc.).
Differentiation:
Describe who will need additional or
different support during this lesson,
and how you will support them.
Differentiated instruction could
include testing accommodations,
preferential seating, segmented
assignments, a copy of the teachers
notes, assignment notebook, peer
tutors, etc.
I will integrate the students by allowing small groups of two, and having
them be able to connect with fellow students and myself of Google
Classroom on the Blog.
Have them write a small paragraph reflecting on how they thought the
lesson went and what might have been a good change to the assignment if
it was to be completed again.
