Abstract:
This paper presents the design and development of an automatic pesticide sprayer robot for agricultural fields. The robot is powered by solar energy and can automatically spray pesticides in the fields without any human intervention. It is equipped with various sensors like ultrasonic sensors, IR sensors to detect obstacles and spray pesticides only in the required areas avoiding humans. The robot moves in the field in a pre-programmed path covering maximum area. It also has features like automatic tank refilling when the pesticide gets over. The developed robot can help farmers in minimizing manual labor and increasing crop yield.
