STARTER:
Whole class group.
- Oral review about some introductory
expressions.
- Oral review of the numbers up to 10.
COLOURS:
Whole class group.
- Teachers pronounce all the colours projected on
the IWB by highlighting the possible spelling
difficulties (J as a tiger, C our tongue between
our teeth, ugly face, RR two R unifying their
power), and the students repeat them.
- We play VEO VEO together: one of the teachers
is the asking voice while the other is in the
students team showing to students what they
should answer each time. Finally, some
volunteers performing the asking voice choosing
the colour, with the help of the teacher.
*It is not as the traditional VEO VEO game in which
one of the parts is thinking about a concrete object
and the other has to guess it. In this case, as we just

with this colour.

DESCRIPTION FETURES:
Whole class group.
- By the visual support and the teachers
performance, students should guess what: pelo,
corto, largo, ojos, alto, flaco mean. Talking
about:
hair (length and colour)
eyes colours
height (alto/bajo)
weight (gordo/flaco)
*When talking about height and weight, we let them
guess how the gender variations work in Spanish: just
changing the last letter of the word by using an O for
boys and an A for girls.
Activity:
Independent work.
1. They draw and colour their Spanish friend.
2. They choose a name for him/her, from a
list of Spanish names provided by the
teachers and they write it next to their
drawing.
3. They describe their friend by using
sentences started with Mi amig@ es/tiene
el pelo/tiene los ojos.
In year 3 they just do it orally, answering
to teachers questions.

In year 4 they write the entire description

in a piece of paper, by copying the main
sentence from the slide, but choosing by
their own the adjective that fits better in
their description and the ending letter
(O/A).
ENDING:
Say ADIS AMIG@ + Keep their friend in the trey.
FURTHER ACTIVITIES:
- Reviewing the months song.
- Reviewing the elephants song from the first session.
- Play to VEO VEO, to review the colours from the last
session.
