Tier 3 Intervention Lead

Teacher

Tier 3 Interventions
Teach 3 Interventions are short 5-7
minute interventions that help to close
the wholes in Observation Survey Data
and Behaviors. Our Tier 3 Interventionist
will learn how to do these this year.
Tier 3 will start this fall with two
interventions called All hands on Deck in
Kindergarten and Breakfast Buddies.
These interventions help develop
independence in learners.

Full Year of Professional

Development 2014-2015
Our Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacherwill
participate in a full year of intensive
learning to build their capacity around
data driven Tier 3 interventions and how
they align with Tier 1 and Tier 2
interventions.
Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher will
participate in training every Friday
AFTERNOON 12 3:45.

Teaching Students
Our Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher
will implement tier 3 interventions with
students to deepen their understanding
of rationale, procedures, and data
differentiating interventions before
training in anyone else.
They will also have a .4 - .5 regular
caseload besides tier 3.

Teach others in our Building

Tier 3 Interventions.
Our Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher
will build the capacity of building level
interventionists by turning over Tier 3
interventions and training in other
interventionist team members to take
on the interventions. The Tier 3
coaches will call each other for site visits
to help build capacity, as some
specialists will be more expert than
others in different interventions.

Data Specialist

Our Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher

will build her capacity to become a
data specialist for our building. The
tier 3 person will monitor the fidelity
of data and data entry throughout the
year as they study data for
interventions.

Help us Help Learners in Need

The Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher

will help the work of the teachers, RtI
lead, and principal by shining the light
on students that may need coaching
support or intervention due to heavy
student need.

Collect CAP and Letter ID

Data

Our Teir 3 Intervention Lead Teacher

will partner with other Tier 3 to
become a team to collect CAPS and
Letter ID for all K-1 classrooms during
data collection windows in November,
February and May.

Help with Attendance Issues

Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teachers

study attendance and intervention
data to ensure students are getting
full program interventions, and to
problem solve attendance issues.

Set up Stakeholder Meetings

The Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher

will set up stakeholder team meetings
for very puzzling kids with District
Literacy Collaborative Coordinator.
These meetings help put strong plans
in place to shift hard to accelerate
learners.

Help Monitor Data for Clean

up Testing

Our Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher

will monitor RWB3 data and build
capacity of school to have all data
entered correctly on a timely basis.

Help with Year End Report on

Day #6

Our Tier 3 Intervention Lead Teacher

will participate in day #6 and team
meeting discussions as we begin to
use the data for problem solving team
meetings and scheduling flexible
interventions each trimester.
