The BR IFIC (Terrestrial Services) is designed to be used on a personal
computer running on Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista, or higher. The installation process requires a DVD-ROM reader. Generally speaking, such a workstation configured with Microsofts minimum requirements (memory, etc.) is sufficient for use with this publication. In addition, approximately [4] gigabytes of disk space is required if the complete data are to be copied to the hard disk. If the data are to be kept on the DVDROM, then only [1] gigabyte (approximately) of disk space is required if all of the programs are installed. It is to be noted that the disk space estimate is based on the current size of the Bureaus databases. The required disk space will, of course, change as a function of the size of the database, which depends on the number of notices received by the Bureau. Additional disk space will be required to store extracted subsets of the data. Unlike earlier versions of the BR IFIC, this BR IFIC no longer requires Microsoft Access.
