OPTIONS MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FOR EP2050

This Maintenance Schedule is intended to be used as reference information for establishing effective field service
activites. To keep the copiers in as optimum a condition as possible, it is recommended that the maintenance jobs
described in this schedule be carried out.
It should be noted, however, that frequency of maintenance jobs determined by the number of copies i s simply a
guide line. Therefore, service management personnel can revise or amend this schedule by taking into account
their own individual field experiences. We feel that this will ensure more effective copier maintena nce for your
customers.
* The maintenance cycle numbers given below represent the readings on the PM Counter of the copier.

: Check the amount of the punch trash inside the Box during regular maintenance visits, throw the tras h away
as necessary. Or, check the number of times the Hole Punch Mode was used by using the Port/Option
Counter of the Counter Mode in the copier, then throw the trash away as necessary. The capacity of t he Box
is 50K times. In this case, be sure to reset the Counter to "0" after throwing away the trash.
