This piece of work showcases my collaboration skills with my classmates. We
practiced our songs for about a month at the beginning of the school year and as we were learning the songs, Mrs. Goree was teaching us how to work together. We were all split up in groups depending on what pitch we sing at. From left to right of the risers, sopranos, which is all girls, bases, all the boys, tenors, mostly boys and one girl, and altos, all girls. The first song we learned was Liza (Water Come em me I), is a very exciting acapella song that is very up-beat, and a song that the audience can sing along to. A hand full of instruments were used for this song performance. This song showcased the boys singing skills, which really drew the audiences attention. As the multicultural concert continued, so did the amazing performances. From Spanish songs to German folk songs with clap along beats. This concert was definitely a night to remember.
