1. WINDBEAK FENCE / WIND SCREEN SYSTEMS

Dust becomes airborne in Stockpile area in several operations. It may happen
during loading/unloading of material, it may be kicked up by vehicles, it may
be carried by thermally induced wind current, or it may be picked up off the
ground or stockpile by ambient winds.
The meteorological wind speed is adjusted to topographical and physical
conditions at the site with the help of Wind Screen/Fencing system. It is a
unique method of dust control and goes hand in hand with Dust Suppression
Systems to help the agglomeration and settling of dust. Wind Screen/Fencing
greatly enhances the performance of Dust Suppression Systems.
Wind Fence Systems are often used in conjunction with DSS as a way to help
control and contain dust around open dump/loading points. They are also
used as a stand-alone system to reduce wind velocities around stockpiles and
stack
out
operations.

Wind Screen Systems are used in a variety of applications as a measure to

lower ambient air velocities thus reducing the amount of airborne particulate
from many types of sources. Wind reductions of 75% or more can be realized
by the use of Wind Screens around the periphery of targeted area.
