As Crisis Intervention Resource Teacher my duties included providing direct support to

strategies and positive behavioral management techniques. This required me to consult
with administrators, teachers and parents to implement effective behavior management
strategies.

During my employment with Prince Georges County Public schools, I have taught social
studies for grades ranging from 7th to 12th. Having taught students on multiple grade levels
has allowed me to teach a variety of social studies topics and given me unique experiences
working with students on different grade levels. The majority of my teaching has taken
place in a co-taught setting, were I have accommodated several students with learning
disabilities, emotional impairments and/or English language deficiencies. These students

Since 2013 I have served as mentor for two interns from the University of Maryland. This
has required me to observe, evaluate and provided guidance to interns preparing to enter
the teaching profession. This unique opportunity has given me experience on how to assist
the development of inexperienced teachers. I used several observation tools in order to
provide useful feedback for my interns. I also worked with professors from the University of
Maryland to evaluate the effectiveness of interns.
7th Grade Team Leader- Greenbelt Middle School

I currently serve as the 7th grade team leader at Greenbelt Middle School. As team leader I
scheduled and plan weekly collaborative planning meeting and serve as liaison between
administration and teaching staff. At these meetings I led my team of teachers through a
data analysis process called data wise. I also would coordinate with guidance counselors
to schedule parent meetings for individual students when needed.

I have held the Athletic Director position for Greenbelt Middle School since 2013. As
Athletic Director I have interviewed, hired and evaluated coaches. In addition it is also my
responsibility to plan, organize and manage large athletic events. This position also allowed
me to gain valuable experience managing a budget and communicating with parents.

Boys Basketball Head Coach- Greenbelt Middle School

I have been the boys basketball coach for Greenbelt Middle School since 2011. This has
given me a great opportunity to coach and mentor several young men. I ensured that my
players were student athletes by implementing mandatory study halls and progress
reports. On my team basketball is used as motivation to improve my players academics
