Prior to the lesson by:

Introduce the concept of a suffix, which is a set of letters that comes after
the root word and changes its meaning. Write on the board: the three

Show the students the suffixes cards.


Ask them to give examples of words with the suffixes

Low level:
They will have sentences cards. in each sentence there is a word with
suffixes (the sentences are simple)
Students have to read the cards carefully
They will search for the words with suffixes and circle them

Walking around while the students are working and see if they understood or not
Reflection
The focusing on the activities went well like what I was supposing, if I
gave the lesson again I will make the lesson more active because I saw
some students felt boring. And they finished the activity quickly. I
wanted from them to on task more and discuss between each other.
High-level students need to work more on extend activities. That make
the classroom a bit noisy.
The children learn what suffixes means. I knew that because when I did
the review at the end of the lesson I asked them to tell me what does
suffix mean. They answered correctly and showed me that they
understood. I asked each students to give me one word end with the
suffixes that we took. Most of them answered correctly.
