Objectives:
1. Students will learn to add doubles from 0-10
2. Students will learn a song about doubles from 0-10
Materials:

The Doubles Song lyrics

Doubles worksheet
Pencil

Procedure:

I will ask students what doubles they may already know

I will introduce the doubles song (or the rap)
Put the lyrics on the board
Read each line and have the students repeat after me
Sing all together to the tune of The Farmer in the Dell
After singing the song through a couple times, students will complete the
doubles worksheet

subtraction as taking apart and taking from.
