To Whom It May Concern,

As an educator, I am constantly researching teaching methods and developing my style of teaching.

Technology has been ever-changing since Ive been student teaching. Ive been taking graduate courses
and have had a real interest in technology in the classroom and how it impacts students and their
learning styles.
I would be a great candidate for this grant for many reasons. I have had training with SMARTBoard
software and am proficient with Google, Chrome, and iPad applications. I have researched and
developed different ways in using technology as I am completing my Masters in Classroom Technology
from Bowling Green State University. I make a point to communicate with parents through my
classroom website, planner notes, email, phone calls, and Classroom Dojo messaging. I am versatile in
the way I teach, using kinesthetic, audio, and visual methods, while incorporating cooperative learning.
I care about each students individual needs and want each child to make strides to reach their fullest
potential during the year. This is accomplished through lesson plans aligned to the Ohio Academic and
Common Core Standards. I have completed the necessary coursework to earn my Ohio K-12 Reading
Endorsement, which is important for students learning with technology. I am a very punctual and overly
prepared person spending countless hours working on classroom activities and lessons. I look to use the
funds from this grant to establish a curriculum through coding workbooks.
I appreciate the time you have taken to review my resume, cover letter, and references. I look forward to
sharing my qualifications with you. Thank you for your consideration for this grant.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Baker
