Explain: The teacher had questions/answer session every 15-20 minutes in the class; the
teacher started giving lecture about bystander after the bell work, and read the PowerPoint
presentation to the students.

Explain: The teacher used the chalkboard in the beginning of the class while doing the bell
work and she used to the computer and projector while giving the lecture presenting the power
point presentation.

Explain: The students were listening to the teacher and each other, the students were writing
down the bell work, students were reading stuff from the presentation, and were discussing the
topic as whole class.

Explain: The student were self-disciplined and were ready to learn by the motivation they had.

OVERALL COMMENTS AND REFLECTIONS:


It was a great environment classroom, what I really liked was every student in the classroom was already
motivated by themselves to learn. The teacher did a great job teaching the topic and managed the class
really well. Asking the students knowledge about the topic beforehand is a great strategy and I would like
to apply this into my future classes. The only thing that was not effective in the class was students were
never taking any notes; I think taking notes will help students repeat the information and increase the
chance of passing it into their long-term memory.
