Camp Halfblood Cabins

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

In Chapter Six of Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief Chiron takes Percy to the cabins
of the camp. As they walk through the courtyard and rows we see that each of the
twelve Olympian gods have cabins for their children that are designed after their
personalities. Each cabin is assigned a number, which will help you in filling out the
chart on the back of this page. For this assignment you will need to draw the cabins of
each of the gods as they are described in the book (starting on page 79). If a god or
cabin is not included in their tour, you must use your imagination to create what you
think it would look like. Do not just wing it on those cabins, use your previous
knowledge from what you learned about the gods to create their cabins. Think of the
symbols that represent them and what they are the gods of to help your creativity.
There are three parts to this project:
1 - Fill out the chart first
2 Create an overhead view map of the camp living area
3 Draw each of the twelve cabins individually based on their descriptions.
