1. For someone working in your field, please describe the fantasies versus realities of the job.
(fantasy vs. reality)
Fantasy: Lots of ordering people around, laid back at the desk, not much attention to customers.
Reality: Following customer online orders, lots of manual labor for shipping, where mistakes are pretty
common.

2. What is your current educational level? What continuing education and training are required?
(educational level and requirements)
Bachelor of Economics from 30 years ago, which makes gaining new knowledge very hard from working
by experience in the present now.
3. Please describe the typical day to day activities of someone working in your field.
(day-to-day activities)
-Customer order shipments of processing and shipping
-Post Office trips (special express orders or UPS, FedEX or local stores)
Inventory Management
-Buying supplies (locally and online)

4. How secure are you in your current position? What do you think is the future of your field?

Currently secure but it depends on the economy as consumer spending is what makes the security of this
job the biggest factor. Economics are very uncertain and unpredictable so it could be anything.

5. What is a typical (average or lowest to highest) salary of someone working in your field?

6. What potential for growth is there in your field?

As more online businesses continue to grow in numbers so will the factors of shipping laborers.

7. What is your favorite thing about your job?
As Sam is retired, it keeps him busy with work that is able to keep him active rather than just not being
productive. Keeps the motivation high even at an older age.

8. What could you like to change within the business?


The communication between our CEO and our made-to-measure. We are all separated in 3 locations from
Texas to New York to London. It would be nice to find an efficient way for faster communication from orders that
require the attention of all three aspects of the company.

9. What is the worst thing about your job?


As a company that minimizes shipping cost, a lot of products require certain spaces/protection for packaging into
certain box sizes.

10. What do you believe the potential growth of this company is projected at in 10 years?

We are hoping that the company can be expanding its size by double in 10 years. Its very hard to project
it as we can only maybe predict in 3 years in the future at now.
