Objective: Students will demonstrate their understandings of both crime scene analysis and
evidence collection and analysis by creating a comprehensive project that covers concepts
taught throughout this year.
Directions: Create a visual presentation that fully demonstrates and explains the steps involved
in a complete crime scene investigation, including evidence collection, processing and analysis.
Project will count as TEST GRADE.
Create a crime sceneExplain how and why you would evaluate and collect evidence (at least 5
things) from the sceneExplain the procedures of evidence analysis, including the proper crime
lab(s)Use crime scene and evidence analysis data to provide a theory of what happened at the
crime scene.
Be prepared to present to class so we can try to figure out your crime!

*Do not commit any actual crimes while preparing for or creating this project!
*ALL ideas MUST be approved by Ms. Griffin prior to starting on project.
