PERSONAL TEACHING
PHILOSOPHY
I have had a love of
teaching since before
elementary school when I would
try to teach my parents. That
love has stayed strong since.
I fully believe that
children are the future, and I
want to do my best to help them
flourish. My purpose for teaching
is to help develop students into
caring, responsible, and
problem-solving adults.
Students need to learn
real-world skills while in
school. Students need to have a
certain amount of autonomy
when deciding the work they
do. It is my job to give them
choices, but they should be
responsible for their learning.
I believe that students
learn best by working with
others, and will be given many
chances to do so.

A GLIMPSE INTO MY CLASSROOM
Technology:

Field Experiences:

Technology will be integrated to

help further learning. Some
examples are iPads, laptops,
document camera and
SmartBoard. However,
homework will not be
technology based because of
the possible lack of technology
at home.
Feedback:
Constructive feedback will be
constantly given to help
students improve. Even if
students meet a standard, I will
give feedback to help take them
further in their learning.
Encouragement:
Students will get
encouragement and positive
reinforcement in my classroom.
Children will never do their best
if they think their work is going
unnoticed. As a teacher, I will
make sure to acknowledge both
the large and small
accomplishments.
